The Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce along with Mount Diablo Resource Recovery are proud to support Small Business Week - May 3 - 8, 2021. We don't just support it though - we go BIG. Our small business celebration will be ALL MONTH LONG!
Throughout the pandemic, the Pittsburg Chamber has encouraged residents and visitors to shop and dine locally. We cannot thank you enough for responding. The restaurants are still struggling, but many are making it through - because of YOU!
For the month of May 2021, the Chamber will run a RESTAURANT SKILLS CHALLENGE designed to promote the restaurants, remind you of your favorite places, and hopefully have you coming back for more. Participants will be randomly selected to win a GREAT PRIZE!
Here's how it works:

Here's how it works:
Small Business Month Restaurant Skills Challenge
1. All month long, the Pittsburg Chamber will post pictures on Facebook of a Pittsburg restaurant's signature dish on one of their tables. At least one restaurant will be posted each week - but there could be multiple as well.
2. Participants (must be 17 years of age or older) will select a picture of a restaurant and table, guess what restaurant it is, and visit the restaurant.
3. Take a picture of you or your party with the dish featured and post it on our Facebook contest page (see PLAY GAME TAB on www.facebook.com/pittsburgc.). One picture of each restaurant guess per person. You can enter once for every restaurant posted. So if you visit La Veranda, Waterfront Grill and Skyview Noodle - that is three entries (if those are the restaurants featured). All entries for the contest must be posted on Facebook by Monday, May 31st at 11:59 pm.
Mark your entries with #eatlocalpittsburg on @pittsburgc, as well as the restaurant on Facebook. Make sure your post has your name on it so that we can identify you and contact you if you are a winner.
We encourage you to eat and drink at the restaurants of your choosing - in support of Small Business Month.
No purchase is necessary or required. No extra entries will be given for purchases made.

Four prize will be given away, by an automated random selection program, by Thursday, June 3rd at 5:00 pm. Winners will be notified on Facebook by Friday, June 4th.
5. So once again - Enter one time for each table/dish, but for as many of the table/dish pictures as we feature that month.
